Environment

Novell ZENworks 10 Configuration Management with Support Pack 3 - 10.3 Installation - Agent

Situation

After installing the ZCM ZAM Inventory only agent on a NetWare server, it does not appear in ZCC

Resolution

This is working as designed; after installing the NetWare Inventory Agent, when it first runs, it does not issue an initial inventory scan.  Instead it is set to the next scheduled scan, default is 1st of the next month.

WORKAROUND:  run ZENAA SCANNOW  at the NetWare command prompt.
WORKAROUND:  Modify the zenaa-t.conf file and change the Next-Scan time to a past date.  Then reload zenaa.nlm.  It will then scan when it is loaded.
