After update to 11 NullPointerExceptions in loader-messages and server becomes slow and unresponsive

Novell ZENworks 11 Configuration Management

Situation

After updating to ZENworks 11 the primary servers become very slow and unresponsive, lots of server busy errors in logs.  The root cause of this problem is due to many chained bundle assignments for bundles created prior to the 11 update.

Resolution

This is fixed in version 11.1 - see KB 7008746 "ZENworks Configuration Management 11.1 - update information and list of fixes" which can be found at https://www.novell.com/support
