ZRS WIS10901 error running reports with MS SQL and Windows Authentication

Environment

Novell ZENworks 11 Configuration Management Support Pack 1 - ZCM 11 SP1
Running on Windows 2008 R2 Primary server

Situation

When refreshing reports the following error is seen:
 
A database error occurred. The database error text is:
[Microsoft][ODBC SQL Server Driver][SQL Server] Login failed for user myuser@domain ..(WIS 10901)
 
ERROR (from zcc.log):
 
Caused by: com.crystaldecisions.sdk.exception.SDKServerException: Enterprise authentication could not log you on. Please make sure your logon information is correct. (FWB 00008)
cause:com.crystaldecisions.enterprise.ocaframework.idl.OCA.oca_abuse: IDL:img.seagatesoftware.com/OCA/oca_abuse:3.2
detail:Enterprise authentication could not log you on. Please make sure your logon information is correct. (FWB 00008 )
ERROR (from SQL log file viewer):
 
Login failed for ' usermyuser@domain ' .  Reason:  Could not find a login matching the name provided. [CLIENT: 192.168.0.45]

Resolution

This is fixed in version 11.2 to work as documented - see KB 7010044 "ZENworks Configuration Management 11.2 - update information and list of fixes" which can be found at https://www.novell.com/support
 
On 11.2, follow the steps here:
 
 
Reporting does not work on a Primary Server if the ZENworks database is an MS SQL Server database, and the authentication mode is Windows Authentication
 
Workaround:  for 11.1: The steps for Linux must be used.

Note:  The following error in wireportserver* indicates that the 32 bit sqljdbc_auth.dll file was not copied to the correct locations or rights not set properly:
 
This driver is not configured for integrated authentication
