Environment

Novell ZENworks Configuration Management 11.1 Bundles

Situation

Unable to delete environment variables from bundle in ZCC

Resolution

This is fixed in version 11.2 - see KB 7010044 "ZENworks Configuration Management 11.2 - update information and list of fixes" which can be found at https://www.novell.com/support

Additional Information

Steps to reproduce
  1. ZCC -> Bundles -> New Bundle -> Windows Bundle -> Empty Bundle -> Name = TestBundle
  2.  -> Define Additional Properties -> Launch -> Add -> Launch Executable
  3.  -> Command = test.bat
  4.  -> Environment Variables -> Add
  5.  -> Name = MyVar -> Value = SomeValue
  6.  -> OK -> Apply
Then delete the environment variable:
  1. Click on the Launch Executable link, highlight MyVar created previously
  2. Click remove, OK, Apply
  3. Return to the screen - the variable is still there
It is possible to add  another variable and then delete either of them.  It is not possible to delete the last one in the list leaving an empty list.
