Situation

ERROR :"GroupWise Error.  An error occurred modifying an attribute value.  Directory Services Data missing (0xD105)" when trying to add email account to an eDirectory user, the following error is displayed
Intermittently, the following error is displayed:  "Ambiguous User"

Resolution

The Last name contains a period causing the issue
Example.  Doe Jr.
Removing the period resolves the issue.
