Novell Zenworks Configuration Management 10.0.1
Situation
The LDAP connector is not working with active directory users who have exchange email accounts. In the Zenworks Control Center when trying to manage a user, it should be ignoring the backslash on the usernames but gives an error, "not being able to determine the user's UID."
Resolution
This is fixed in version 10.0.2 - see TID 3486285"Updates to ZENworks 10 Configuration Management" which can be found at https://www.novell.com/support
Additional Information
The users that have an email account associated to them get put in the ZCC with a"username/" and when clicking on it, it will give an error. When there is no exchange email account associated with the user, the administrator can get into the ZCC and manage the users.
