Situation
When creating the Launch URL action, when the Test URL button is clicked http:// is added to the front ofthe URL, for examplemailto:user@novell.com becomeshttp://mailto:user@novell.com. The browser then thinks it is supposed to go to novell.com and use mailto as a login name.
Resolution
This is fixed in
version 10.0.1 - see KB 3486285 "Updates to ZENworks 10
Configuration Management" which can be found athttps://www.novell.com/support
Additional Information
Steps:
1. In ZCC click bundles.
2. Click New and select Bundle.
3. Select Windows Bundle.
4. Select Web Application.
5. Name the Bundle.
6. In the URL box type mailto: followed by an e-mail address.
7. Click the Test URL button.
