Environment

Novell GroupWise 6.5 for Linux
Novell GroupWise 7.0 for Linux
Novell ConsoleOne 1.3.6

Situation

In most cases, the domain was moved from NetWare to the Linux platform

Error: "Could not open EXEPATH.CFG" when attempting to view GWIA properties in ConsoleOne

ConsoleOne is running on the Linux server.
Domain directory specified in Tools | GroupWise Diagnostics | Display Object shows the UNC directory in the format \\\ Domain directory>

Resolution

The EXEPATH.CFG file is created during an installation and placed into the gateway directory, If the domain is moved from one server to another, this path will now likely be incorrect. The format the UNC is displayed in Tools | GroupWise Diagnostics | Display Object should be a "Linux friendly" path. If it is not, toggle the domain path in ConsoleOne to a path that can be interpreted with Linux. For example \opt\novell\groupwise\.

If you would like to run a copy of ConsoleOne for Windows against a Linux domain, please see the documentation at this URL:
