Situation
The Linux Loader is not passing parameters correctly from the
CMD files to the kernel at load time
For example: if in the z_main.cmd/z_auto.cmd files you have
the parameter vga=0x0314, then a splash screen should be displayed,
if it's absent, there should be no splash screen. This, and other
kernel parameters, are not being passed correctly.
Resolution
For ZDM7: Fixed in ZENworks 7 with SP1 Desktop Management, available at https://download.novell.com
For ZDM6.5: Fixed in Novell ZENworks 6.5 Desktop Management Support Pack 2 Interim Release 1 - see KB 3665027 "Updates to Novell ZENworks 6.5 Desktop Management" at https://www.novell.com/support
