Situation
No printers appear when trying to browse to an NDPS printer using the Windows XP Add Printer Wizard after the installation of Windows XP Support Pack 3. This same behavior can be seen on an XP SP2 workstation with the MS KB 893225 patch installed.
Resolution
This has been resolved with the patch 491psp2_3_4_nwspool_3.zip or later

Steps to duplicate:
- Click on Start
- Run
- Printers and Faxes
- Add Printer
- Select the NetWork printer option
- Select Browse for a Printer
- Double click on NDPS Printer
Only the Pubic Access Printers option is available and no printers show up. On an XP SP2 workstation (without the KB 893225 patch) Controlled Access Printers is also available. This is where the printers are listed
