Login script drive mappings fail with errors on Windows 7

Situation

MAP statements in the login script results window may contain errors, such as:

LOGIN-LGNWNT32-430: The following drive mapping operation could not be completed.
 [some drive mapping statement]
The error code was c0000103
LOGIN-LGNWNT32-250: This utility was unable to set the default drive to N:.

Resolution

Use the Windows "Run logon scripts synchronously" policy to force Windows to completely finish running the login
script(s) before proceeding with starting the user's desktop.
See the Novell Client readme section 4.16 "Login Script Execution Starts Before User’s Desktop" for information on this Windows policy.

This will ensure that the SHELL32/user's desktop is initialized only after the login script results window is closed. In some cases, this allows the drive mapping statements to succeed.
