Scott Semel

Scott comes to Novell as a legal executive with over 25 years of general counsel experience, and has served as General Counsel for such companies as Ascential Software Corporation (formerly Informix), Navisite, and Designs, Inc. Most recently, Scott served as Chief Legal Officer and Corporate Secretary at Tele Atlas N.V. (Euronext TAL), which was sold to TomTom N.V. in June 2008. As part of his responsibilities after Ascential Software was sold to IBM Corporation, he served at IBM as Associate General Counsel-Transition Executive.
