A.3 The device remains in the unenrollment pending state for several hours after initialing the quick task

When you initiate the Unenroll MDM device Now quick task on a device that is enrolled via Mac MDM and ZENAgent, the quick task remains in the assigned state and the device stays in an unenrollment pending state for several hours.

Workaround: Cancel the quick task.

During this process, MDM could have been unenrolled. ZENworks cannot deterministically identify if MDM is unenrolled in this process or not. In this case, after the configured device loses the schedule, MDM data is removed if the Remove option is selected in the Configuration > Device Management > Device Refresh and Removal Schedule page.
