Course Overview
With the proper foundation in networking basics, you''ll have the knowledge you need to tackle complex networking problems and deliver top-notch service to your users down the line. Networking Fundamentals (Course 3003 v2) teaches students basic network configuration and support for those with little or no experience with setting up and maintaining a network. Students will also learn network topologies, standards, protocols and will learn about and work with different operating systems, remote access, security, wide area networks and how to provide network support. The objectives for this course map to the CompTIA 2005 Network + exam, helping students prepare for the CNE 6.5 prerequisites.
