Course Overview

This Data Center Automation with ZENworks Orchestrator course introduces you to the basic concepts behind Novell's push into the automated data-center arena covering the concepts, terminology and relationship to the ITIL process framework. You will get many hands-on opportunities to delve deep into the ZENworks Orchestrator suite of products. This course also introduces you to the XEN virtualization technology in SUSE Linux Enterprise Server and covers the Virtual Machine Lifecycle process.

Course Prerequisites

Before taking this course, you should have a strong foundational understanding on SUSE Linux Enterprise (or an equivalent Enterprise Class Linux Distribution). We recommend that you have a basic working knowledge of virtualization (paravirtualization and full virtualization) and basic Linux-centric storage technologies such as NFS and iSCSI.
