Beta Classes

Novell Training Services is always preparing new classes. Part of the process requires offering a beta of the class to a number of people who are expected to make pertinent comments about the quality and accuracy of the class. To that end, Novell Training Services encourages participation in these beta classes, and offers them at a reduced rate .

Current Beta Class Offerings:

BETA Administering Novell Open Enterprise Server 2 for Linux, Course 3088

Administering Novell Open Enterprise Server 2 for Linux, Course 3088, is designed to enable networking professionals to perform common administrative tasks using the services provided be Novell Open Enterprise Server 2. Attendees install Novell Open Enterprise Server 2 and perform tasks often required of employees who provide support for medium-sized to large networks.

A North American beta class is scheduled for May 5 - 9, 2008 at InTech-Solutions' location just east of Rochester in Penfield, NY.

This course introduces students to the file storage, printing, and network administration solutions that make Novell a world leader in enterprise infrastructure software.

Attendees will:

Install Novell Open Enterprise Server 2 on the SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 10 platform
Manage the Novell Client
Perform maintenance tasks in Novell's eDirectory
Manage file system and eDirectory rights
Install and configure Novell Storage Services
Install and configure iPrint
Configure a TCP/IP Network
