Network+,
a certification offered by the Computing Technology Industry Association's
(CompTIA), certifies the knowledge
of networking technicians and others with networking experience. The exam
for Network+ covers a wide range of vendor and product-neutral networking
technologies. Those who pass the exam for Network+ can have Novell waive
the exam for course 565 Networking Technologies, one of the six
Certified Novell Engineer (CNE) courses. For more information on the Course
565 Exam Waiver, click here.
Course 1400 The Novell
Guide to Network + is a five-day course that prepares an individual to
take the Network+ exam from the Computing Technology Industry Association
(CompTIA). This instructor-led course includes CNE-style, career-building,
hands-on labs and exercises. It is offered exclusively at Novell Authorized
Education Centers (NAECs) for U.S. $1995, (suggested retail price, actual
price may vary), and at Novell Training Services Academic Partners (NEAPs). To
find the NAEC or NEAP nearest you, use our training
center locator.
Q. Why should
I take course 1400 The Novell Guide to Network + over the competition?
A.
- Course 1400 teaches
students using the highest quality standards of engineer-level instructional
design, labs, exercises and content.
- The same Novell
Education experts who helped create CompTIA's Network + certification
exam also created course 1400, which prepares you for the Network +
exam objectives precisely.
- With course 1400,
you will also receive valuable extras such as a three-user license of
NetWare 5 and the new version of The Guide CD, which includes assessment
tests and important career information. Course 1400 best prepares you
for the Network + test, AND for an IT career.
Q. Are there any
benefits to taking course 565 Networking Technologies instead of Course
1400?
A. Course 565 is only three days of classroom instruction, rather than
five for course 1400, and the examination is generally cheaper than the
cost of the Network + exam.
Q: Who do I call
to register for the test?
A: Please call Prometric at 1-888-895-6116 or VUE at 1-877-551-7587.

at Prometric or
VUE.
