系统要求
以下是高级系统要求。有关综合全面的信息，请参阅 Sentinel 文档。
Sentinel 可以在三种不同的平台上部署：Linux、Windows 和 Solaris (UNIX)。为实现最佳性能，建议遵守下列规格：
操作系统
Sentinel 6 组件（包括数据库）经过认证，可以在下列操作系统上运行：- 带最新 Support Pack 的 SuSE Linux Enterprise Server 9
- 带最新 Support Pack 的 SuSE Linux Enterprise Server 10
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux 3 Update 5 ES (x86)
- Sun Solaris 9（建议 Patch Cluster 日期：2005 年 5 月 3 日）
- Sun Solaris 10
- Windows 2003 Standard 或 Enterprise Edition SP1
- Windows XP SP1（仅限 Sentinel Control Center, Collector Builder 和 Sentinel Data Manager）
- Windows 2000 SP4、Standard 或 Enterprise Edition（仅限 Sentinel Control Center、Collector Builder 和 Sentinel Data Manager）
数据库
Sentinel 6 经过认证，可以与下列数据库一起运行：- Oracle 10g Enterprise Edition（带 Oracle 重要增补程序的 v 10.2.0.3 #5881721）
- Oracle 9i Enterprise Edition (v 9.2.0.7 p.5490841)
- Microsoft SQL Server 2005 SP1 32 位 (v.9.00.2047)、Standard 或 Enterprise Edition
- Microsoft SQL Server 2005 64 位 (v.9.00.2047)、Standard 或 Enterprise Edition
注：所有数据库都应该安装在经数据库供应商和 Novell 认证可与 Sentinel 6 组件一起使用的操作系统上。Oracle 必须在 Linux 或 Solaris（不能是 Windows）上运行。
报告服务器
支持的报告服务器为 Crystal Enterprise Server XI R2，它可在 Sentinel 6 环境中的以下任意平台上运行：- Windows 2003 SP1 Server、Standard 或 Enterprise Edition
- Microsoft SQL 2005 上的 Crystal 数据库
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux 3 Update 5 ES (x86)
- MySQL 上 的 Crystal 数据库
- SuSE Linux Enterprise Server 9 SP2 (x86)
- MySQL 上 的 Crystal 数据库
支持的堆栈
Novell 支持安装在任意支持操作系统上的 Sentinel 6 组件，环境可以是混合环境（Linux、Solaris 和 Windows），另有少数例外情况和限制：- Collector Builder（仅在 Windows 平台上运行）
- Crystal Enterprise Server
- 不能在 Solaris 上运行
- 不能在 Sentinel 6 环境中的 Windows 2000 上运行
- 不能与作为 Sentinel 6 环境中数据库的 MSDE 一起运行
- 数据库
- 如果 Sentinel Server 在 Windows 上运行，则必须使用 SQL Server
- 如果 Sentinel Server 在 Linux 或 Solaris（不能是 Windows）上运行，则必须使用 Oracle
- Sentinel 6 环境中不支持 Windows 上的 Oracle
- Data Access Service (DAS)
- 如果 DAS 安装在混合环境中，比如 DAS 运行于 Windows 上且使用的数据库为 Oracle，或 DAS 运行于 UNIX 或 Linux 上而使用的数据库为 SQL Server，则不能使用 Windows 身份验证。
