The following four Hot Plug PCI modules are installed when you install NetWare:
If the NetWare installation process determines that your server supports Hot Plug and has the appropriate driver, the installation process adds the following two LOAD commands to the autoexec.ncf file:
This command loads the bus driver. After this command is executed, NetWare autoloads ncm.nlm.
This command loads the Novell Configuration Manager Console, which, in turn, loads odineb.nlm.
Note that this command is commented out . If you want NetWare to load the Novell Configuration Manager Console every time the autoexec.ncf file is executed, remove the # sign from in front of the command.
To enable PCI Hot Plug technology, restart the server to execute the autoexec.ncf file. You can also execute the LOAD commands for the driver and NCMCON at the server console prompt.
