Looks like I will need to follow with my introduction :-)

I’m Ron van Herk, one of the Worldwide Support Engineers working for the ZENworks team at the European Services Center (if I tell this to my kids they won’t have a clue about what I do, so I just tell them I fix computers). I joined Novell in 2001, before that I worked at a Novell partner in the Netherlands. Besides assisting my customers on ZENworks questions I’m active within the internal Novell Resource Management Community of Practice (CoP), the CoP runs different internal activities related to ZENworks.

You might think, “Nice such an internal community, but what does that do for the ZENworks users outside Novell?” Well, we had the same question and have the plan to extend our focus and see how we can get more interaction with the field (so that will probably be my focus on this blog). So what should we do to have more interaction with the field? Well, a post on this blog is a start but if you have some ideas leave me a comment or join me at BrainShare BOF session 177 where I will moderate an open discussion about communities and Novell.

One last thing, anyone interested to go mountainbiking in the weekend before BrainShare?

Ron
