It’s nice that GroupWise keeps the attachments with the message, but sometimes you don’t want to keep a copy of the attachment in your mailbox ( eating up quota space ), but you do need to keep a copy of the message.

Here is a small c3po that will help. GWStrip will make a copy of the original message (incoming or outgoing ) minus attachments.

Gwstrip will remove all attachments ( but retain header info for internet messages, up to the first blank line ), make a note of the attachment(s) removed and append “(copy)” to the subject line to indicate the message was modified. Just highlight a message & press the toolbar button that looks ( sort of ) like a paper clip with int’l “NO” sign.

Requires 6.01 or higher, tested only on US English.
