Regular tools do not allow to delete eDirectory containers recursively. OuDelete.exe allows you to select a container and delete it’s complete substructure with all subordinate objects. Use with great care.

Usage
—–

  • Use the browser to select the container to be deleted.
  • The current container will be displayed in the edit field
  • Switch to the tab “Delete selected container” and press “Delete”

After one last confirmation, the selected container and all subcontainers will be deleted.

Warning – Warning – Warning – Warning
————————————-

Use with extreme care to avoid inadvertent deletions.

This tool can do severe harm when used carelessly and you delete containers that may still be needed for eDirectory.

Do not use the tool when you’re tired, drunk, upset, mad, just divorced, angry with your employer, or simply out of control.
You should have a validated backup before using this tool.
