MyComputer.exe is a simple command line utility that enables you to change the My Computer icon to anything you wish…even taking advantage of environment variables.

In my environment, I like having the My Computer icon indicate the logged in user, and the computer name. So instead of this:

I can run this command:

MyComputer SET $UserName$ on $ComputerName$

and get this instead:

892-1.gif

Sometimes…it’s the little things that count. :-)
