Last year we revamped The Novell Vibe Sandbox on Vibe Public Access to give users a richer experience. While you can still access sample Forms and Workflows, learn about Default Folders in Vibe, and play around with our Workspace templates which are all available for download on The Resource Library. Now you can also access the Demos and Projects areas.

This post will focus on the Demo Area and what it can do to help you and other users in your organization get off to a great start using Vibe.

*Using Vibe Public Access requires a Novell.com login. If you don’t have one, you can creat one here.

The Demo Area on vibe.novell.com is broken up into three main sections designed to help users gain a better understanding of how Vibe works which allows for greater site navigation and usability.

Each section contains a series of tasks that when completed, will help you move forward with confidence. We recommend having the Demo Tasks open in one browser window / tab and working through each task using a different window / tab. Doing the tasks this way will help with continuity. The best place to work on the tasks is within your own Personal Workspace.

The first series of tasks are all about updating your personal profile and learning about access controls to secure personal files within your Personal Workspace.

The second series of tasks will help you know how to create and manage documents in Vibe. It walks you through creating new Folders and Entries. The tasks also teach you where and how to access the free resources available to you through the Vibe Resource Library.

The final series of tasks helps you with collaborating in Vibe. From creating a new Team Workspace, to creating and assigning tasks, and building out Landing Pages, we hope you’ll find how easy Vibe makes collaborating with those around you!

We hope you find these resources useful. As always, if you have any feedback for us, please feel free to shoot us an email at vibelibrary@novell.com.
