With the addition of two new discussion forums, our Micro Focus Forum site just got more useful. We’ve added new tools to your tool belt…..or, a different way to look at it, a new tool to your Swiss army knife.
Sometimes you need to talk about more than just a single product. Perhaps you have a technical problem and you don’t know which product or products are the cause. Perhaps you’re trying to come up with the best solution for your business requirement and you don’t know which product or group of products would fit your need. Maybe you wand to find out which virus software works best in your environment. Maybe you just want to talk with your peers about the new blade server, Raspberry Pi or Android tablet you bought.
We’ve just created two new discussion forums made for those types of discussions.
- Business Solutions
- This forum is for discussion of your business needs. Collaborate with the community to find how how they’ve dealt with similar situations. Often a combination of products from various vendors will address a specific business requirement.
- Technical Discussions
- Talk tech with your peers. Any products, any vendor, any issue. If you’ve been a member of our community for a while, you’ve probably gotten to know other community members. This is a place to bat the technical fat.
The question I get the most about these new forums is “Are they just about Micro Focus products?” No. We don’t live in a technical bubble. Your business needs and your technical interests are unique. Our goal is to provide a place for you to get into those discussions, no matter where they lead.
Jump into an existing discussion thread, or start your own. There’s a lot of skill and knowledge between all the members of our community. This is one more opportunity to tap into that skill/knowledge pool. Contribute or learn or both. We’ll see you in the Micro Focus Forums.
