GroupWise@home: Now in Closed Alpha

Open Horizons, the EMEA community wants to give you a short update information about the “GroupWise@home” project. The project team just announced, that there is a first Alpha version of the product available. This will only be tested by some of the worldwide independend Open Horizons GroupWise specialists. The project team also announced, that they are planning to have a developers meeting end of March in Rotterdam about GroupWise@home. So by the end of March we could probably give you some more information.

Feel the danish power: Two free GroupWise tools

Tommy Mikkelsen is one of the very active GroupWise specialists of the Open Horizons EMEA initiative. He has developed two tools (GroupWise EasyInstall will allow you to install the GroupWise client using SetUpIP even without administrator rights on the workstation – GroupWise Shared Folder Reporting allows you to generate a list of all shared folders), which are available at through the Open Horizons website.

    Now that its November 2018, I think Open Horizons should release a GroupWise v18.1.0 @Home Windows Client. I keep getting asked for such a client for my customers that use GroupWise @Work and they want to also use it @Home for their personal Gmail, Yahoo, COMCAST, etc. email accounts.
