One day, we get a helpdesk ticket from a user. It went something like this:
“I ran out of space on my H drive, so I deleted all the files to clean it up and now all my data is gone. What do I do? Can I get my data restored?”
Fortunately we perform nightly backups, however, we all thought it was humorous that they knew they ran out of space and then deleted everything expecting that to solve the problem.
