Problem

A Forum reader recently asked:

“If I set the default display to ‘homepage’, whenever I restart GroupWise, the display is all messed up. It either starts on the mailbox or the homepage is out of whack.

If I set it up, the first time I start the client it works fine. The next time I start the client, it’s like it loses the configuration as explained above. Why will it not save correctly?”

And here’s the response from Joe Marton …

Solution

Try setting up the home view again, and in the “Display Settings Save As” box give it another name, perhaps something like “<User Home Custom Settings2>”. The settings should “stick” after doing that.
