3.0 Allowing Filr and TeamWorks to Connect to the Content Editor

After installing a Micro Focus Content Editor appliance, you must configure it with the DNS hostnames of each Filr and TeamWorks appliance that you want to be able to connect to it.

  1. To allow Filr and TeamWorks appliances to access the appliance’s editing services, type their DNS hostnames, one per line.

    IMPORTANT:Make sure that you enter each DNS name associated with the Filr and TeamWorks appliances. For example, If you have a Filr appliance that communicates on an internal network as filr.hq.company.org and on an external network as filr.company.org, you must include both DNS names in the Allowed Hosts list.

  2. Click Submit.

    The hosts you enter are listed in the left panel.

  1. Click this to add the typed DNS hostnames to the list of allowed hosts.

Cancel button

  1. Click this to cancel any changes and return to the Home panel.
