If your GroupWise system is relatively small (one domain and a few post offices), one DVA in the system should be enough to support your needs. If needed, for fault tolerance or performance, you can install additional DVAs on a different server. Each DVA installation can have multiple DVA worker processes to handle document conversion.
IMPORTANT:If you are using an external DVA (not on the same server as the POA, GW Web or WebAccess), you must have JAVA installed on the external DVA server so Power Point files can be converted.
