Unwanted Internet email messages (spam) can be a distracting nuisance to GroupWise client users. GroupWise has two lines of defense against spam: the Internet Agent(GWIA) and Junk Mail Handling in the GroupWise client.
For additional spam protection, Micro Focus recommends using Micro Focus Secure Messaging Gateway (SMG) for your spam protection. For more information about SMG, see the Micro Focus Secure Messaging Gateway data sheet.
