You can immediately perform most administrative tasks in the GroupWise Administration Console. However, some administrative tasks can be time consuming. Therefore, the Administration Console runs the tasks as background processes so that you can continue with other work in the Administration Console. Background tasks include:
Database maintenance
User import
The number of background tasks that the Administration Console is running displays in the upper right corner of the Administration Console window.
Click the number of tasks to display the Background Tasks list.
Tasks remain on the list until you clear them.
Click the name of a task to display details about it.
Click Refresh to display the current status of all tasks that are still in progress.
Select a task, and then click Cancel/Clear to stop the task before completion.
