52.1 Filtering Items

To search for items in a folder using a filter:

  1. Open the folder you want to search.

  2. Type a word or phrase in the Filter field in the Item List header.

    The word or phrase can be any string of consecutive characters contained in the item you are trying to find. Find searches on subject, sender, or recipient.

  3. Choose the item you want from the displayed list of items.

To provide filter criteria:

  1. Open the folder you want to search.

  2. Click the find drop down in the Filter field and select “In Current Folder”.

  3. In the Find pop out, specify your filter settings. The folder list displays your filter results.

  4. (Optional) Click Save to save the filter.

    You can select saved filters from the Saved drop-down.
