You can change a resource’s owner whenever necessary. The owner must be a user assigned to the same post office as the resource. If you need to give ownership of the resource to a user on a different post office, you must move the resource to that post office. For details, see Section 58.4, Moving a Resource.
The new owner automatically receives proxy rights to the resource’s mailbox. Proxy rights are removed for the old owner.
Ensure that the new resource owner understands the auto-accept/decline rules that are associated with the resource.
In the GroupWise Admin console, browse to and click the name of the resource.
Click the General tab, then locate the Owner field.
Select the new owner from the drop-down menu, then click OK to display the user’s name in the Owner field.
Click Save, then click Close to return to the main Admin console window.
