4.2 Running the Upgrade

Follow the steps below to upgrade a GMS 18.3.1 or later version server:

Download the ISO for GMS 18.3.1 or a later GMS version from the OpenText Customer Center.
In a terminal, mount the GMS ISO using the following command:
```
mount <path to the GMS ISO> /mnt
```
Browse to /mnt and run the install.sh.
Follow the prompts to upgrade GMS.

NOTE:When upgrading to GMS 24.1 or later from a version pre-dating 24.1, the GroupWise Mobility Service requires a restart at the beginning of the upgrade process.
