Download and Installation

downloading the software

  1. Ensure that you have already downloaded the license file for GroupWise Mobility Service 2.0.

  2. Click the Download button next to each file:

  3. Follow the on-screen prompts to download each file to a temporary directory on the Linux server where you want to install the Mobility Service.

Your eligibility for the Novell GroupWise Mobility Service entitles you to SUSE Linux Enterprise Server (SLES) 11 Support Pack 3. You can install SLES 11 SP3 on as many servers as are required to run the Mobility Service to support all of your mobile device users.

  1. On each server where you download the Mobility Service file, install SLES 11 SP3.

Installing the novell groupwise mobility service

  1. On the Linux desktop, start YaST.

  2. Under Groups, click Software, then click Add-On Products.

  3. On the Installed Add-On Products page, click Add, select Local ISO Image, then click Next.

  4. In the Repository Name field, specify a name for the repository that will hold the GroupWise Mobility Service software.

  5. In the Path to ISO Image field, browse to and select  the GroupWise Mobility Service ISO file that you downloaded, then click Next.

  6. Accept the License Agreement, then click Next.

  7. Under Primary Functions, select Novell GroupWise Mobility Service, then click Accept to start the installation.
