You can upgrade the Identity Manager Driver for Delimited Text at the same time that you install the engine or you can upgrade after the engine is installed.
To upgrade the Driver for Delimited Text after the engine is installed:
Run the Identity Manager 3 installation program from the download image.
For Windows* NT*, refer to Installing to Windows.
For NetWare®, refer to Installing to NetWare.
For Solaris or Linux, refer to Installing to Linux or Solaris.
Select the Identity Manager Driver for Delimited Text.
The new driver replaces the previous driver. Because your previous driver configuration is preserved, no post-installation configuration is required.
Restart the driver.
IMPORTANT:The sample configuration file for the updated driver changed for the Identity Manager 3.0 release. If your current configuration meets your requirements, you don’t need to import the sample configuration. If you do import the new sample configuration, you will see an additional driver for Delimited Text with a new name, a new Identity Vault container specified in the placement rule, and new rule names.
