Various settings can be configured for Novell® iManager. These settings affect the way that iManager and the Web server behave. PortalServlet.properties is the configuration file for iManager 2.0.x, it is located in the "...\webapps\nps\WEB-INF\" directory of the Tomcat servlet engine.
Many of these settings can also be configured through iManager 2.0.x in the iManager Configuration role. Be aware that, upon restarting the Tomcat servlet engine, directives in the PortalServlet.properties file will override any of the same settings that have been configured through the iManager Configuration role in iManager 2.0.x.
The following are descriptions and examples of many of the directives that can be configured for iManager 2.0.x.
