iSCSI SAN Configurations
A storage server or target is required for this iSCSI Initiator release. A storage router connected to a fibre channel SAN can also be used.
A SAN configuration that incorporates an iSCSI storage router is illustrated below. The iSCSI storage router configuration utilizes standard Ethernet hardware. Servers are connected via Ethernet connections to the iSCSI storage router, which is part of the shared storage system.
