Remote Management

ZENworks^TM for Desktops (ZfD) Remote Management gives you the ability to manage remote workstations (called managed workstations) from the management console. Remote Management gives you the ability to do the following:

• Remotely wake up a managed workstation
• Assume control of a managed workstation
• Execute files found on a managed workstation
• Reboot a managed workstation
• Transfer files between the management console and a managed workstation
• Chat with the user at a managed workstation
• Diagnose problems on a managed workstation
• Ping the Remote Management Agent on a managed workstation

Remote Management can save you and your organization time and money. For example, you or your organization's help desk can analyze and remotely fix workstation problems without having to visit the user's workstation; reducing problem resolution times and increasing productivity.
