ncl_control - Start, stop, or restart Novell Client for Linux-specific daemon modules.
ncl_control [start | stop | restart | status | help]
Allows you to stop, start, and restart the client-specific daemon modules. It can be used to troubleshoot whether the client has been installed correctly or it can be useful if you receive errors.
You must be logged in as root to run this utility.
Loads all Novell Client for Linux daemon modules.
Stops all Novell Client for Linux daemon modules.
Stops and then reloads all Novell Client for Linux daemon modules.
Verifies that the Novell Client for Linux daemon modules are running. This is useful for troubleshooting issues with the Novell Client. If the Novell Client is running correctly, the status is returned as 0 with a message stating that the daemon is running.
If the Novell Client is not running correctly, you receive a status other than 0 and a message stating the issues.
