Name and Type (to Find)

Name
Enter either the name of an object to search for or a wildcard pattern to use in the search. The wildcards that work depend on the type of container selected in the left pane. For example, if a NetWare* volume is selected, standard file system wildcards work, such as asterisks (*) and question marks (?).

Type
Lists the object types you can search for. For example, if you are searching the NetWare file system, you see Volume, Directory, and File object types.

To limit your search to a specific object type, select that object type in the list. Use Shift-click or Ctrl-click to select multiple object types.

Find
Click this button to execute the search and display the results in a window at the bottom of the dialog box. The results window is fully functional just like the ConsoleOne* right pane.

Reset
Click this button to reset the fields and options in the Find dialog box to their default values. Otherwise, each time you use the Find command in your current ConsoleOne session, the dialog box contains the values you last specified when searching that type of container (whether an NDS* container, a NetWare volume, or some other type of container).
