To set the top object in the left pane

If the object you want is currently available in the left pane,

Right-click the object choose Set As Root.

If the object you want isn't currently available in the left pane,

Double-click at the top of the left pane until the object appears.

To put My World back at the top,

Right-click at the top of the left pane choose Show My World.
