AppManager for VMware vSphere provides a set of Knowledge Scripts designed to give you a comprehensive view of how vSphere performs in your environment. This module monitors resources through vCenter to ensure that the most basic components of your vSphere environment function correctly.

Key Features

  • VirtualCenter_HostDiskTotalLatency monitors Physical Device Latency, Kernel Disk Latency, and Queue Latency.
  • Resolves the following issues:
    • Discovery_VirtualCenter fails to access a file from a specified location if the file path contains spaces.
    • VirtualCenter_DatastoreUsage does not display datastores names in events and data points.
    • VirtualCenter_ServiceHealthCheck crashes the Management Server.
    • Running Discovery_VirtualCenter stops all the existing jobs and raises a job failure event.

This compressed file contains the QDB and console files. You do not need to run this file during installation

This is the pre-installation check that is used with the AppManager setup program

This is the configuration file used for deploying the module with Control Center
