NetIQ Privileged Account Manager limits susceptibility to access unauthorized transactions and information by helping organizations rapidly deploy superuser management and tracking across all UNIX, Linux, Windows (server and desktop), application, and database environments. It reduces management overhead by controlling and recording which privileged users have access to what. It reduces infrastructure costs and errors through compliance audits. It helps in eliminating the chances of security threat and data loss by securing the account credentials for applications, and by allowing an administrator to take an action such as, disconnecting the session, or blocking a user from accessing sessions when the user performs a suspicious activity in a particular session.
