NetWare News Server Administration Guide

This manual is written for network administrators who want to add news servers to their networks. Before you configure NetWare^® News Server, refer to Planning Your News Server.

Because the News Server is scalable, the recommended use of memory and hard drive space varies according to your needs.

• A minimum 128 MB RAM is recommended. 1 GB RAM is recommended if you're using a full UseNet feed (20,000 plus newsgroups).
• A minimum 200 MB space on the volume you're installing on is recommended. 20 GB hard drive space is recommended if you're using a full UseNet feed (20,000 plus newsgroups).
