Planning Your Replication Sites

Before you configure your server for discussion group replication, ask yourself the following questions:

• What discussion groups do I want the NetWare News Server to provide to my users?

  You will make this decision based on the content you want to provide and how much disk space you have available.

• What discussion groups do I want to replicate with other sites?
• Are my replication sites internal to my organization, or will I also be replicating discussion groups with external sites?

After you've decided what discussion groups you want to provide and what your replication sites will be, contact the administrators of the remote sites to set up replication. For more information on configuring your replication sites, refer to Managing Replication.
