Why can't I connect to the directory server?

Cause

The user ID or password you specified is incorrect.

Solution

If you are using the local directory service, you can check the user ID and specify a password from the General Administration page by clicking Users & Groups > select the user.

If you are using an LDAP server, you might need to contact the directory server administrator and ask for the correct user ID and password.
