MD5 Checksums

The following table lists the downloadable image names, their MD5 checksums, and file sizes. Use this table to validate that your downloaded image is correct.

System Requirements

• Personal computer with a Pentium* II processor or later and a bootable CD-ROM drive
• 800 MB hard disk space (4 GB recommended)
• 128 MB of RAM (256 MB recommended)
• Super VGA display adapter.
• Network card (if you will be connecting to a network)
• USB, PS/2*, or serial mouse.

Download Instructions (CDs)

Novell® Linux* Desktop CD version is available for download as three ISO images. For access to product updates and Support services, you must purchase an NLD activation code. For information on purchasing Novell Linux Desktop, see How to Buy.

1. Download the following ISO images to a workstation or to a network drive. You will need all three images to install Novell Linux Desktop.

• NLD9-i386-CD1.iso
• NLD9-i386-CD2.iso
• NLD9-i386-CD3.iso

2. Create CDs from the ISO images.

Important: Create the CDs using the contents of the ISO images. Do not create the CDs by burning the .iso files themselves to CDs.

1. Download NLD9-i386-DVD.iso to a workstation or to a network drive.

2. Create a DVD from the ISO image.
