YaST is the configuration tool for Novell® Linux Desktop. This appendix covers the configuration of your system with YaST, which enables comfortable configuration of the main system components. This includes most of the hardware, the graphical user interface, Internet access, security settings, user administration, software installation, and system updates and information. This chapter also provides instructions for using YaST in text mode.
